I received a bunch of flowers at work in celebration of my third anniversary and, after getting home, set about taking close ups of the bunch and this flower alone.

I liked a lot of the pictures, but then hit on putting my wedding ring on the flower, positioned to just be able to read the engraving. One shot and I knew I had the perfect image!

I also love the reflections of the flower in the inside of the ring!

A sunrise I caught the other morning. I love the fact that I was freezing my fingertips off taking this photo and others, yet this picture looks like it could be tropical.

I also thought it was fitting, after a weekend of stressful flat problems, I’m starting this week on a calmer note. Hopefully a warmer note, too!

Reflections in water

Wading Around

... Make a Whole

Twisting the Topic

A small collection of images taken a few weekends ago as the sun was still slowly rising. The top three all deal with standard reflections in water, the second took ages as I waited for the bird to remain still and there be no ripples in the water, the third I didn’t realise was a junk tyre until looking at the computer. The final image was one of the first taken and I wanted the main focus to be the one leaf reflecting the sunlight.

Enjoy another fabulous Friday photo project!

A cenote near Coba in the Yucatan area of Mexico. The stone and greenery is reflecting perfectly off of the still fresh water beneath.

I love reflections!
